Mahalo, 2013!

I had a great year! It is honestly one of my best years. :P I've got to do a lot of things that I've been meaning to do for the longest time.

The start of my 2013 was rather tough. I left my comfort zone on the December of the previous year, and started on my new work on what I considered as an unfamiliar territory on January. I was scared that I'd screw up. When I left my previous company, I was very clear on my career path, and was working hard to achieve my career goals. I had to prove, if not just for myself, that I made the right decision. When you leave something good, you have to hope that you'd end up with something better. Thankfully, I've got the hang of it, and everything is fine at work. :)

Last March, I started sponsoring a kid on World Vision. I've been meaning to do this for years, but never had the chance to. But on this month, I decided to go ahead with it. This is one of the things that is constantly making me happy. :)

My brother finally graduated from college last April. Oh, I didn't graduate though. But that's fine, I didn't want to take the spotlight from him. Lols. :P

I finally got to do a solo trip in Boracay, and that was for my birthday last June. :P It was rather a life-changing event. Echos. But seriously, the solo trip proved to be a worthwhile experience for me. Now, I do not hesitate on doing things on my own. I still get weird looks though whenever I tell people that I travel solo. Hehe.

It was also on this month that I've decided to take the plunge on my biggest investment to date. I've got the family a house in our province. Hopefully, I can pay this off ASAP. It should be one of my happiest moments when I finally get the keys to the house.

I went to Sydney for a business trip last September. I  stayed there for five weeks, and even got the chance to see my Tita and her family, and my Sydney teammates. I had an awesome weekend in Canberra with an old friend too.

When I think about it, the biggest accomplishment I had this year is being able to finish my thesis. My professor accepted it last October. Hurray. But I will graduate on April 2014 because I failed to meet the deadline for the graduating students then. But still, I'm gonna graduate. :P

I had few out-of-town trips this end of year. I went back to CDO-Camiguin this early December, and went surfing in Baler last week. I'm excited for my trips next year. :)

Kung nakilala ko si BB, best year na sana ito. HAHAHAHAHA. Kidding aside, I'm very happy this year, and grateful for all the blessings. I can't wait for 2014. Game on!
