I feel like my life is put on hold. Naka-Pause lang siya hanggat di ako guma-graduate. I want to volunteer tomorrow on relief operations, but I still need to work on my overdue thesis. This always happens. My thesis is always at the back of my mind when I spend my holidays or weekends doing something else. But still, I've been procrastinating a lot.

I tried to re-assess my priorities. My masters is still a priority. If I don't get to finish my thesis, I will retake it next semester, hopefully. This should just be the option, the target is still to complete the thesis this semester once and for all. I'm almost there, and I kinda blame myself for not getting on the finish line. Maybe, it's a Coelho thing. One of my favorite quotes is from Coelho in his The Alchemist book. "And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it." Very inspiring, right?  But on the same book, Coelho said this on the Mecca dream, "I'm afraid that if my dream is realized, I'll have no reason to go on living."

I've worked on this for three long years, skipping work when I wasn't able to finish a paper. Or sacrificing my sleep when I still had to attend the class before coming in to work. Or sleep a little when I had to attend the class on a Saturday. But this previous year, I suddenly realized that I've been messing things up. I kinda dislike failing myself, and I'm doing exactly it. Blame Coelho. HAHAHA.

But right now, I'll try to get back on the game. There are still a lot of things that I want to do. I hate putting it on hold. I want to graduate ASAP. I am planning to take another masters that is related to Journalism or Creative Writing. I want to find a regular weekend volunteer work. I want to travel. I want to be relevant again.

Coelho, Coelho, Coelho. Well after all,the more famous quote says that the universe will help me achieve my dreams. Go, universe! :P
